3. Fall prevention assessment

Falling in the home happens more than you think. That’s why your Annual Wellness Visit includes a balance assessment. This covered screening will give you a better sense of your or your family member’s fall risk.

4. Healthy home visit

A Healthy Home Visit through Signify Health® is an added layer of care to help you manage your health in the comfort of your home. During this yearly visit, a medical provider will either come to your home or meet with your virtually (online). They can discuss any health concerns, recommend screenings and create a personalized care plan. Remember, this doesn't take the place of an appointment with your regular primary care provider (PCP), but you can feel free to ask them any health questions you have.

To schedule your visit online, have your member ID card ready and visit Schedule.SignifyHealth.com/home.

To schedule by phone, call 1-855-746-8709 (TTY: 711) Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 8 PM ET.

Protect your health with layers of care

During your Annual Wellness Visit, your primary care provider (PCP) will talk with you about your overall health and wellness. They will use your answers to build a personalized prevention plan based on your current health and risk factors. Call us at the number on your member ID card to learn more.

5. Covered screenings and vaccines

Aetna members have many covered screenings and vaccinations they need for better health, for example diabetes, breast cancer and depression screenings. Make sure you schedule these important appointments if you haven’t already.

  • Vaccines. It’s never too late to get your flu shot or Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) immunization. These covered vaccines are key for keeping illness away, especially when the weather turns colder.

  • Mammogram. Your health plan covers mammograms. Women should get a mammogram every one to two years between the ages of 40 and 74.*

  • Colonoscopy. Covered screenings include colonoscopy and at home testing kits. You should get a colonoscopy every 10 years starting at age 45.*Your Aetna Medicare Advantage plan covers these important screenings.

  • Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test. In men, a PSA is a protein made by prostate cells. A PSA test can help catch prostate cancer. Your PCP may tell you to get tested every year, two years or more.

6. Health supplies

As an Aetna Medicare Advantage member, you get a 20 percent discount on thousands of CVS Health® brand health and wellness products  — both in store and online.

To learn more about your discount, log in to your secure member website. Look for "Wellness Savings for You" in the "Living Well" section. There, you can read how to use your online promo code or print your in-store coupon to activate savings. (You can’t combine the 20 percent CVS discount with any supplemental benefits you receive as part of your Medicare Advantage plan.)

7. In-network pharmacies

With most Aetna plans, we’ll only cover your prescription drugs if you use an in-network pharmacy. Many plans include standard and preferred pharmacies. Both are in-network, but you may be able to fill your prescriptions for less at preferred pharmacies. That’s because they may have lower out-of-pocket costs. Some of the preferred pharmacies that are available through your Aetna Medicare Advantage plan include Costco, CVS, Kroger and Walmart.

8. Telehealth visits

Telehealth visits with your doctors or therapist can benefit you in so many ways. You’ll get to talk about your physical or mental health from the comfort of your own home. Plus, if your doctor does covered telehealth visits, the cost is the same as an office visit.

Not sure when to use telehealth? Telehealth visits are best for follow-up visits with your doctor, exams of easy-to-see areas like your eyes or skin, prescription refills, and mental health services.
